I miss my papers, punches, stamps so much… I miss the time struggling which colors or lace should i choose. I miss the time taking photos of my proud creations.
Instead, I’m stuck with work and some stuff. Luckily, an exciting holiday is awaiting me next week! So I maybe MIA from blogland for quite some time. Hopefully I’ll be back soon with some crafty creations to share with my fellow crafters! 🙂
Hi ladies! This will be another quick post. I’m going to share another card before I head back to my work stuff. Here’s the card.
I love these stamps of Pink Paislee so much! Love the vintage and elegant touch!
This card is created based on CASE Study Challenge #34 and Crazy 4 Challenges C4C82 Color Challenge. I had fun playing with both challenges. Hope you can join them too!
Time flies! Weekend is here in a blink of eye! Tasks at work are getting more and more challenging and the deadline is just around the corner. Gosh! I hope after all these, I can truly enjoy my holiday (before get back to work and face another tons of tasks… sigh…)
Well, as usual, I have a card to share. This time round I tried something new to me: accordion flower! Saw many cardmakers did this and they look so lovely. Well, mine looks kinda ‘amateur’. Haha!
The label, lace and punched border.
The ‘amateur’ accordion flower =D
This card is inspired by Skipping Stones Design Sketch #71.
Happy crafting ladies!
Hello world! How was your weekend? I hope you have a great one! Today I have a card to share with you. It is inspired by Embellish’s Decorative Trim Color Trend Challenge. The color combination of the challenge are shades of green and yellow. Decorative trim’s my all-time-favorite as it adds interest to paper crafts!
Here’s my take:
The sketch of this card is similar to the one I learnt from Smidapaper cardmaking class. I’m actually using olive green patterned paper but it’s kinda hard to capture the color.
Love this butterfly stamp so much! Very elegant and catchy!
As I don’t have matching color distress ink, I use chalk ink to distress the border instead.
Have a nice day, ladies!
Cardstock: Bazzill Basics
Patterned Papers: My Mind’s Eye (So Sophie)
Trim: Craft Supply
Stamp: Hero Arts (Dictionary Greeting), Pink Paislee (Parisian Anthology), own design (Thank you)
Ink: Versafine (onyx black), VersaMagic (sahara sand)
Border punch: Martha Stewart Crafts
Finally it’s April!! The most ‘happening’ month in the year to me! It’s the month of my first job (1st of April), our anniversary (7th Apr), my first car (7th Apr) and my birthday (21st Apr)! See what I mean? And Prince William is getting married (29th Apr), Justin Bieber’s Concert (21st Apr)… Okay, out of topic…
So this week, I’m gonna share a card that I made for our anniversary. Since I’m giving this to him, I would like to keep things simple. I played with Clean&simple Sketch 134 and The Play Date Cafe Challenge PDCC75. I’m really attracted to the simple sketch and interesting color scheme of the challenges. and here’s my take:
I pierced the cardstock to create grid-like look.
I just realized I don’t have many silver papers/embellishments in my collection. So, I used the dark grey small button and silver glitter alphabet stickers instead.
Clean&simple Sketch 134 and The Play Date Cafe Challenge PDCC75:
This will be our 4th anniversary. 4 years are neither very long nor short time. I believe we’ve gone through many ups and downs, especially last year where we were in long distance relationship. I just wana tell you (I know you’ll probably read this 1st thing in the morning) that I’m really happy to be with you. I’m sure you’re feeling the same way too. So let’s hope for better and brighter future together. Happy Anniversary.
